Your connection is too slow. It was uploaded to DailyMotion. I'll try and find that.

I hereby resurrect thee Anime discussion!
*cue flock of doves, butterflies & shining light from the sky*

I've found a couple of great websites that stream lots of different anime series online  Smiley
www.crunchyroll.com

When I first joined last year they had tons of different series available in great quality. Nowadays however it seems they are changing gears to become more connected to the production companies & animators, so maaaany of the series I had set aside to watch have been taken down  :'( Now things are tighter and you can only really get full access to all the new videos if you're a "star" (paid) member.

There is however a well made ongoing series called 'Time of Eve' http://www.crunchyroll.com/library/Time_of_Eve#library_viewer_module=group_id%3D87731%26tab%3Dvideo
It reminds me of Ghost in the Shell a little bit, because it questions what humanity is, as its based in a society where robots are part of everyday use.

Check it and let me know what you think

Yes, it's a great show. I'd be on the front lines fighting for the rights of dori-kei everywhere, because robots are hot.

It's a good commentary on society's resistance to accept changes that alter the status quo vis-a-vis the social structure. Is there any reason that androids are sub-human besides not being made of flesh and bone? Their cognitive faculties are obviously on par with humans', possibly exceeding them. Instead, androids are treated as appliances, or slaves, rather than companions or peers. It's ridiculous that forming relationships with androids is so stigmatised, when (our present) society puts on a facade of vilifying superficial relationships and lauding those on an intellectual and abstract level. If I lived in that world and had to hear reporters spouting bullshit about how fucked up people are for feeling some sort of connection with androids, I'd probably go on a rampage. That doesn't preclude people from also having healthy relationships with other people.

BUT AS I WAS SAYING I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL WE CAN BANG HOT ROBOTS

Didn't you learn anything from Futurama and Lucy Liu?

did u watch it? dating wasn't the problem, hooking up was.

Edit:

Ok, It was me who didn't watch it.  The whole PSA was about how everyone was preoccupied with sleeping with their robots which then allowed aliens to invade unchallenged and take over.  Are you not a fan, or am I just a geek?

It sounds familiar. I'm sure I watched it, but just don't remember. Then again, I might remember if Futurama had hot humanoid robots instead of unappealing combinations of metal cuboids and cylinders.

Ohhhhhh snap I remember now. Thank you Wikipedia. Good call, man. I feel ashamed somehow.
